Over 500 Inuit lay on the Sea Ice in minus 30-degree temperatures to
send a message from the top of the world: “Arctic Warning” and “Listen”
in the Inuktitut native language. The picture appeared in 128 media
outlets and attendees at The Inuit Circumpolar Conference subsequently
took up Global Warming as a Human Rights Issue.
